Virtual Librarianship

I provide an analysis of your site and make recommendations on how the information you present should be structured. I focus on the following:

  • Ensure your audience are able to easily and quickly navigate to the appropriate information;
  • Information is presented in such a way that it can be found by site visitors and search engines alike;
  • Site navigation is clear and follows a logical flow;
  • Everything is where is should be.

This service is useful for:

  • Those writing a specification for a developer prior to a website being built;
  • Clients who have a existing site that requires an information ‘clean-up’ and restructure as it has grown organically over time and lost focus;
  • Clients who have site visitors who don’t hang around long enough to complete transactions / sign up to an offer, etc.;

My approach works well for internet and intranet alike. I provide clients with a graphical ‘map’ of how their site is currently structure and how I would recommend it was structured. If appropriate, I can then carry out the restructuring work for you.
